Kaya mo kayang itapon ang ginto at kumuha na lang ng ordinaryong bato?
David Poarch has everything in the states that every Filipino have dreamt of! He exchanged everything to live a simpler life in the Philippines! Way much simpler! He found himself in the shores of Subic in Zambales! There he tries to search his happiness!...
Determination is what we need to successful in life! Any obstacle is nothing if we have our goals set and determined that we can make it to the top! David went to the Philippines zero handed! Not really zero funds but so little that he won't be able to live a luxurious life like what he had in the states. I really haven't read his whole blog, only some portions, but what I think is his trying to make us realize that we can be successful in our own country! He didn't recieved any help from his family in the states but he survived here in the Philippines!

If Oprah Winfrey was a Filipino!
Oprah opened her school in south africa last week, nurturing more than 150 poor south african girls and to give them a chance for a better future. The whole school costs around $40,000,000.00. Built on 21 hectares (52 acres), the 28-building campus, which was originally to cost $10 million, is said to resemble more a luxury hotel than the rundown schools most of the girls know. It boasts state-of-the-art classrooms, computer and science laboratories, a library and theater as well as a wellness center.
But, what if Oprah was a filipino politician? Will she still construct a school that costs $40 million?
On my point of view, I don't think she'll be spending too much on constructing a school that costs $40 million. Not even a million dollar to reconstruct schools that have been devastated by the past typhoons. Instead, she'll put that much money to a swiss acount or any account that is far from the Philippines so no one will see it!
Our government doesnt care much about education and the future of the young filipinos! They are afraid to be out throned by the new generation filipinos, they only want their children to rule the philippines in next generation!
Last sunday while listening to the homily of Fr.Jayson Gomez, there are many types of searching, like what the three kings did in search of the newly born king! He said our politicians are in search for getting more power and how to stay in power, they will do everything just to have power, even killing other peoples lives!
Going back to Oprah and the Philippines, i hope one day Philippines would be like Oprah, serving others is one of her priority and not looking for bigger power! At the end of the day, you wont be needing this power! You and me will lie down on the same thing, maybe mine is made of wood and yours is metal, but we all know where are we going to!goodnight!:)

11th National Autism Consciousness Week
Some few notes about AUTISM from the Autism Society of the Philippines:
What is Autism?
Autism is a developmental disability that severely hinders the way information is gathered and processed by the brain, causing problems in communication, learning and social behavior. It typically appears during the child's first three years, occurs in roughly 15 to 20 of every 10,000 births and is four times more common in males than females. People with autism live normal life spans and some of the behavior associated with it may change or disappear over time. Autism has been found thoughout the world in families of all racial, ethnic and social backgrounds.
What causes autism?
Although no one specific cause of autism is known, current researches link autism to biological or neurological differences in the brain. The severely incapacitating symptoms are caused by physical disorders of the brain. In some families there appears to be a pattern of autism or related disabilities which suggest there may be genetic basis to the disorder, although at this time no one gene has been directly linked to autism. No known factors in the psychological environment of a child have been shown to cause autism.
What are the symptoms?
The following areas are among those which may be affected by autism:
Communication. Language develops slowly or not at all; use of words without attaching the usual meaning to them; gestures used intead of words; short attention span.
Social Interaction. The person with autism may spend time alone rather than with others; show little interest in making friends; less responsive to social cues such as eye contact or smiles.
Sensory Impairment. Unusual reactions to physical sensations such as being overly sensitive to touch or under responsive to pain; sight, hearing, touch, pain, smell, taste may be affected to a lesser or greater degree.
Play. Lack of spontaneous or imaginative play; does not imitate others' actions; does not initiate pretend games.
Behaviors. May be overactive or very passive; throw frequent tantrums for no apparent reason; may perservere on one single item, idea or person; apparent lack of common sense; may show aggressive or violent behavior or injure self.

blah...blah...blog!
you dont need fortune tellers to predict your future!you're the one who's going to make your future!HAPPY NEW YEAR!
here's a compilation of some of my thoughts this past year!(december to be precise!)happy reading!:)
i was listening to the radio and the DJ said that his father told him when he's still a young kid that "if you have nothing good to say! just keep your piehole shut!" i've heard that before and i must say that simple line is applicable to those who's new year's resolutions include going to the street again and say nasty words and burn efigees of some politicians! they are not actually helping resolve the problem!they are adding to it!
last december 31 was the last day of registration for the 2007 local and national elections!many went early!and early means 12 midnight!and waited the sunrise...till the comelec office opened!many teenagers were there to register for the first time!they are with their parents!how sweet!ye that's sweet guys!but one thing! you're not there to be circumcised to bring your own parent!your their so your voices will be heard! your parents wont choose the politicians that you have to vote!so i think you have to show some indipendence?you dont get my idea???that's all right! many parents were angry because they say the comelec wasn't prepared for the big volume!SHUT UP! the registration STARTED LAST YEAR! to be specific MAY of 2005!and what are you saying not prepared?you have 19 MONTHS to go to the nearest comelec office to register!and now you'll get mad???to that lady who said that on national television!come here and i'll put some ice on your ass!
some 40 journalists in the country are being sued by our fat and ugly first gentleman!the reason???he doesnt want to be publicised!am i correct with my spelling?continue...he doesnt want us to know how wealthy he is!he doesn't want us to get some BALATO from his PANGUNGURAKOT!sana walang makabasa para naman d ako makulong!:)
l/cpl daniel smith the one who raped NICOLE, became an instant celebrity!tom cruise is in makati city jail!and fans want to have an autographed picture of a criminal!but nicole also has her own dose of faults in this case!why did she go with them?are you the only persons in that club that nobody saw you?and can't you shout for help if they tried to force you come with them?
ianaantok na ako!at wala na rin akong maisip!kaya next time nalang!happy new year guys!:)

Hunger! Humanities Oldest Enemy
HUNGER, HUMANITY'S OLDEST ENEMY
Hunger and malnutrition are still the number one risks to health worldwide.
In the final quarter of the 20th century, humanity was winning the war on its oldest enemy. From 1970-1997, the number of hungry people dropped from 959 million to 791 million -- mainly the result of dramatic progress in reducing the number of undernourished in China and India.
In the second half of the 1990s, however, the number of chronically hungry in developing countries increased at a rate of almost four million per year. By 2000-2002, the total number of undernourished people worldwide had risen to 852 million: 815 in developing countries, 28 million in countries in transition and nine million in industrialised countries.
Today, one in nearly seven people do not get enough food to be healthy and lead an active life hunger, making hunger and malnutrition the number one risk to health worldwide -- greater than AIDS, malaria and tuberculosis combined.
- UN World Food Programme
thank God Philippines isnt part of that list were people are starving to death!
